Hot Springs Village is a pleasure for a day, week, month or lifetime. The Ouachita Mountains and National Forest provide a majestic background for this gated community.
Resort-style Championship Golf
Hot Springs Village offers seven private, 18-hole championship golf courses that all Vacation Rentals guests can access with POA-member Guest Cards. Their beautifully-manicured, rolling fairways and greens have earned many of the courses top-ten state and national rankings from Golf Digest within the last 10 years. When you tee it up in Hot Springs Village, you easily find yourself thinking you are standing on a tee box in Florida, South Carolina or Alabama.
Tennis and Fitness Facilities
If you prefer tennis instead of golf, the 16 tennis courts in Hot Springs Village should get your attention. The Coronado Tennis Center is a premier facility with 10 clay courts and three hard-surface courts, and the clubhouse features a lounge, kitchen and pro shop. In addition, there is a 400-square-foot pavilion with an ice machine room, picnic tables and restrooms with showers. A ball machine and practice hoppers are also available. Vacation Rentals guests should call the tennis center a week in advance to set up play.
The Coronado Fitness Center is a full-workout facility. The facility includes a large exercise area with weight and cardio equipment, a three-lane walking track, exercise classroom, a 25-meter-heated indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, steam room, sauna, and massage therapy. In addition to the men’s and women’s locker rooms, two family-handicap dressing/shower rooms are available. The indoor pool was renovated in 2009 when new flooring, paint, and geo-thermal heating and air were added to the pool area.
The water-sports enthusiast or lake fisherman has seven recreational lakes totaling 1,900 acres of aquatic space to enjoy. Boat rentals are also available at the Balboa and Desoto Marinas. In addition, Lake Ouachita, one of the nation’s clearest lakes, is only 12 miles away.
Experience the Arts
If your trip to Hot Springs Village would be enhanced by the arts, the Ponce de Leon Center Complex seats 650 guests at the Woodlands Theatre which sponsors symphonies, musicals, plays and movies.
If you enjoy nature trails, then Hot Springs Village is mapped with 20 miles of scenic walking and hiking trails that are accompanied by wooded, mountain and lake views.
